Our brand is founded on outstanding instruction. We hire those unique stars whose skill is matched by their passion to share, teach and inspire. These are people who are thrilled to help you reach your goals. They’ll make sure your experience is super fun, and you leave with more skills and the tools to keep improving.

Endless Slope instructors are your own personal coaches for skiing & snowboarding. They’ll assess your learning style and physical skill to help you reach your goals, whether it’s getting ready for a trip to the French Alps, joining a work trip to Tahoe, or starting your new snowboard life. They’ll even work with you at the mountains and give you advice on gear.

Coaching and teaching is incredibly rewarding I enjoy engaging with students at all levels – where ever they are – and taking them to the next level to help them achieve something important in their life.

Ski racing demands great technical analysis and it’s enabled me to build my coaching skills so I can assess the unique approach of each student I teach.

I started racing in Jr High, was President of my high school ski team and was race director at my University. I served as regional race director while working professionally in IT, then moved to Tahoe to more fully pursue ski racing. In Tahoe, I coached Jr. race teams and high school teams for 4 seasons, as well as serving as Director on Ski Race Boards.

In Reno, while training local TopGun pilots, I was able to raise one of my students 6 levels in Sierra adult racing leagues; moving from Level 7 to Level 1 in only 2 seasons.

I’m always inspired to help motivated students achieve new skills, so I also coach kid’s soccer and volleyball.

Philosophy:

“Some of the most important people in my life have been my sports coaches – they really believed in me and inspired me throughout my life. So I try to be that same inspiration for my students.”

Joni Bortnik

“Learned to ski at age 4, and did not stop since then. Except to snowboard and travel for a bit…”

I worked at an aquatic swim gym sports camp as a counselor with kids (which i love) while I lived in Miami, Florida where I did undergraduate in Psychology, and Biology. I have enjoyed skiing different mountains and different snow types in Taos, NM; Copper Mountain; Vail ; Beaver Creek ; Steamboat; El Portillo in Chile; El Colorado in Chile; Las Lenas in Argentina; Bariloche in Argentina; San Martin in Argentina; Okemo in Vermont; But still my favorite place and the one I go back to is Park City the best snow I’ve ever seen and been in.

I have done and love practically all sports. I especially love Skiing, Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, Surfing, Rugby, Futbol, Tennis, Basketball, Football, Polo, Hockey, and Golf.

Philosophy:

“Keep it fun. It has to always be fun. That is why we do it.
It has to be fun, and at the same time hard enough
to keep us engaged and challenging ourselves.”
